The Secure Care Pathway and Standards Scotland were launched on October 5, 2020, to improve the experiences of children and young people who are in, or on the edges of, secure care, leading to better and brighter outcomes.
One year on, we’re holding an open session that will give an overview of the Standards, why they’re important and the story so far, plus experiences shared by partners who are on the journey of implementation, the STARR group and the Scottish Government. There will also be opportunities for questions, and for participants to consider what the Standards mean for them and their agency.
