About the course:
An in-depth online training courses focusing on young people’s entitlements to support beyond care, via Continuing care and Aftercare. Sessions delivered by lawyers specialising in this area of the law.
Who is this course for?
Any practitioner working with care-experienced young people.
Key learning:
These sessions will ensure practitioners understand the legal processes around Continuing Care and Aftercare, as well as how to ensure young people get the support they need and are entitled to. Topics will include:
- Understanding of young people’s entitlements to Continuing Care and Aftercare
- How to safeguard these entitlements
- Observations from our practice
About the trainer:
Jenna Hall joined Clan Childlaw as a trainee and now works here as a senior solicitor, focussing on the rights of care experienced children & young people. She works with children and young people every day to make sure that their rights are being upheld.
