The International Association of Chiefs of Police, Yale Childhood Violence Trauma Center, and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Office of Justice Programs at the U.S. Department of Justice have just launched Enhancing Police Responses to CEV: A Toolkit for Law Enforcement.

Law enforcement practitioners and mental health professionals developed the toolkit to enable officers to address children exposed to violence, build positive police-community relations, increase officer safety, and enhance officers' sense of professional efficacy.

In this webinar, presenters will discuss the issue of children exposed to violence and the role of the police officer in the life of a child exposed to violence, and present the 13 tools which comprise the Toolkit.
