Venus de l’Association nationale des conseils d'enfants du Bénin (Anaceb), de Close, de Sœurs salésiennes, de Reporters juniors et d’Ashoka, plus d’une centaine d’enfants et adolescents prennent part, depuis ce mercredi 28 août, au forum des enfants du Bénin. Pendant trois jours, ils vont réfléchir sur leur situation en prenant en compte d’une part leurs droits et d’autre part leurs besoins dans la société.

A new study has found the states with the highest and lowest teenage delinquency rates in the United States.

Colorado is not among the states across the country with the highest juvenile crime rates, according to a recent report. The research team at Frontpoint Security used data from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention to find the number of arrests made per 100,000 young people between the ages of 10 and 17.

Según la Encuesta Nacional Escolar, dos de cada tres jóvenes colombianos han consumido alcohol en algún momento de su vida. Por ello, RedPapaz lidera una iniciativa que reduzca esa estadística.

Según la Organización Mundial de la Salud más de la cuarta parte de los jóvenes entre los 15 y los 19 años consumen alcohol, es decir, más de 155'000.000 millones de adolescentes. Colombia no es ajena a esa realidad.

The family of a boy with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is suing for disability discrimination after his former Queensland primary school allegedly held him in a "withdrawal room" to calm him, and physically restrained him multiple times.

He has been embroiled in a two-year legal battle with Education Queensland over his alleged treatment at a school in Hervey Bay between 2011 and 2015.

Another hearing on the case is set down for tomorrow.

But we cannot ignore the fact that regardless of what they have done, they are still our children.
