1. To Support children of prisoners, by meeting their immediate individualized need to protection, and basic necessities, and providing long-term human development interventions that empower them to be future leaders and contributing members to the community.

2. To prepare household members and the community at large to provide a supportive environment for children of prisoners and ex-prisoners.

3. To provide inmates with rehabilitative and transformative services aimed at preparing the m for successful re-entry and parenting.

4. To reduce rate of recidivism by providing individualized support to former prisoners


The Scope (Salvage Children of Prisoners in Emergency) Foundation  envisions a society where prisoners’ children in Uganda have unlimited access to protection, provision, development, and participation opportunities.

“We are a team of committed Christian youth, who realized the need to rescue children of prisoners from abuse and violence, and therefore started the SCOPE foundation, through which we could have the voices of prisoners' children heard, and collectively present and address issues of these vulnerable children."
