Child-friendly justice (Easy-to-read version)

European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights

Abstract

"FRA says that the justice system needs to make children feel comfortable and do what is best for children. This is called child-friendly justice.

People need to explain to children what is best for the children. Sometime what is best for the child is not the same as what the child wants.

Children need to know what is happening. People need to tell children what is happening. People need to tell children in the right way so children understand."
